Batty for boots.

One of the (few) tragic things about living in California is that you don't get much cold weather. Especially here in Southern California, I often find myself gleefully grabbing for my cozy scarf and stylish boots as soon as the temperature hits 70 degrees! But that doesn't prevent me from going batty for boots. Oh no no, you see, I looooove boots, especially suede boots, that hit the ankle at that perfect spot.

At my last trip to Nordies, I was tempted by these BP. 'Trolley' Ankle Boots in Navy (also pictured below in Burgundy Suede). At an awesome price of $99, these may just be the only boots you need for the entire season. The block heel measuring at 3" is just right, and the brass side zipper is that adorable added accent of style.

Shoe closet love.

I will be the first to stand up and admit that I have a fabulous husband. Not only is he smart, funny, creative and patient, but he's pretty darned hot too! I still consider us newlyweds (and probably will for quite some time), because we're always doing thoroughly silly stuff for one another--keepin' things fresh, fun and surprising, ya know?
