Valentine's Day. It's a super special day to me. Yes, like many women in American, I'm a total sucker for red roses, a good box of candy, and a dinner date on the town. Now don't get me wrong, I feel totally and utterly loved by my main man 365 days out of the year - but there's something about St. Valentine and all that his day means, that makes me so grateful we stop to celebrate love . This year, my guy earned some BONUS POINTS due to a surprise flower delivery to me from Farmgirl Flowers - heard of them? As I enter my mid-thirties, the summers of wedding after wedding seem to be simmering down. It's really a darned shame too - not only do I LOVE weddings...the decor, dresses, cocktails and dancing 'til my feet hurt...but I love to go SHOPPING for a solid wedding guest dress. During the month of November you can always find me doing 2 things: Counting down the days until my family's Thanksgiving feast...and counting down the days until shopping deals begin! My shopper-girl's heart is beyond excited for Cyber Monday (the perfect way for me to stay in my turkey coma and still shop!). Yep, the Monday after Thanksgiving Day in the United States is when the droves skip the long lines, and go to their keyboards for the best in online deal hunting. Cyber Monday has quickly become the biggest online shopping days of the year--and my fashionista eye is focused especially on the great shoe deals spotted for Cyber Monday at Macy's ! Every year, it always seems to be a dilemma--what the heck am I going to do for New Year's?! I have to say, it's gotten easier since I've gotten married. I no longer have the nervousness of looking for something to avoid sitting on the couch with only Ben & Jerry as my dates (although Phish Food is pretty amazing!). And I also don't have to worry about who to snag and kiss when the ball drops...always the dreaded thought of any single girl. Ah yes, but now my biggest dilemma is: 1) what the hubs and I do to ring in the new year, and 2) what shoes to wear to ring it in fabulously. After a little web-scouring, though, I think I've narrowed at least the shoes part down: Vince Camuto also has some insanely chic crystal'd pumps on the scene right now--the 'Crane' pumps are a close 2nd on my top 3 list. Any color suede that Mr. Camuto offers in these babies are just right for me, although I do dig the black & teal duo for their individuality. Enzo...

It's Valentine's Day! Did you know? I'm sure you do by now! If you haven't started munchin' on candy convo hearts yet, or chowin' down on chocolate, you're probably just waitin' til lunchtime, right? I know I've already dug into the goodies that my lovey-dove got me, yummers! Allllmost as delicious as a box o' chocolates or a special steakhouse dinner (which the hubs and I are headed to tonight, I might add!), is a good pair of gorgeous red heels. So, on the eve of 2011 something verrrrry exciting happened to Miss H in H (no, it's not baby news, mom, sorry!): I launched the brand spankin' new look of my blog ! So, we officially made it. Yep, we made it through yet another stuff-your-face Thanksgiving and probably some funny family incidents, too. Did anyone else (above the age of 18) watch the series finale of The Hills last night? I sure did! Went to Taco Tuesday with my main man and afterward, he generously let me curl up on the couch and hog the tube for a few hours of my MTV-junkfood. I have to say, it is the end of an era (an era of reality tv my blood pressure & I can surely do without), and it was indeed an interesting ending! Well on The Hills Aftershow the lovely L.A. ladies were all proudly sportin' their best platforms and it got me all MTV-inspired to do a little post-show write up...
