As a busy mama and freelance writer and fashion blogger, there is so much on my plate! One of my favorite memories I have with my man is the time we went country line dancing. Now now, I know I may seem more like a city gal to you, but deep down underneath this mall-strollin', money-spendin' machine is a simple girl. I remember we grabbed a few cold ones, did some two-steppin' amidst the crowded dance floor on the Central Coast of California, and got our boots a little dusty. It was quite magical! So I neeeeever do this, but for some reason yesterday I totally caught the Black Friday fever! I set my alarm for 5:30am, and opened my peepers to the sound of silence in my house...and it inspired me to jump outta bed, jump into my sneakers and throw up a ponytail for a little early shopping trip! On this sunny Friday, this shoe blogger and daytime marketing girl, could not figure out what to do for lunch--ever have a day like that? It's a nice day outside, but your tummy isn't quite hungry and you can't think of a place to park it and lunch for an hour? Well today was that day for me. It was Friday so I felt obligated to at least take a lunch--so where did I end up?: Nordstrom. Dear Nordstrom, you are my favorite. You have everything I need: lots of clothes, comfy couches for when my feet get tired, pretty make-up on the 1st floor immediately when I walk in, and oh yes... shoes! During the month of November you can always find me doing 2 things: Counting down the days until my family's Thanksgiving feast...and counting down the days until shopping deals begin!
