Cyber Monday. Get that stuff.

Cyber Monday! The day when we are all glued to our phones and laptops, listening to that joyous "ding" every 10 seconds when a new email offer comes through. Let's face it, it drives us mad, but we love it. Right?

This year, the deals seem undeniable and I am snagging every one that my bank account will possibly allow! From gifts for friends, gifts for kiddos, holiday party-wear, and even some adorable everyday shoes, here are some faves from today's Cyber spectacular sales:

It's hard to find a good Anthro sale on regular priced items. I managed to snag this long leopard blazer during the 30% off Black Friday sale, but if you haven't snatched up an Anthro item (tons of great gifts, by the way!), now is your chance. The site is 20% off for Cyber Monday, with free shipping on orders over $100. Doooo iiiiit.

Everyday sneakers that are stylish and femme make the perfect gift for yourself or your BFF. If you're a mama on the go like me, then a solid pair of sneaks can MAKE an outfit. Madewell is offering 25% (use promo code GOODMOOD), and these Vans Old Skool sneakers in Pink Leather are so right on.

Since apparently, I am on a crazy leopard kick (who am I?!), I may snatch up these insanely trendy Gap Leopard Scallop Booties for my little one. With a sturdy look and a stylish flair, these will go with her favorite leggings or tutu dress that she constantly insists on wearing to preschool (I can't complain). If leopard isn't your little one's thing, check out these Shimmer High Tops from Gap. Gap is offering 50% off EVERYTHING and free shipping (promo code CYBER) and an extra 10% off (promo code TREAT). Yep, that's 60% off. Hop to it!

I think the very best gift for a friend is PJs! If I'm talking real talk here, pajamas are something that I always want to buy for myself, but I never can muster up the justification to do it. I end up buying a cheap pair of lounge pants, and tossing on a tee for bedtime. So spoil your BFF (like I do!) with some nice Anthropologie sleep pants like these. That 20% off today is the perfect time!

Mama always needs a new pair of heels, let's face it! Holiday parties, weddings, spring flings--all of that stuff is right around the corner, and a fresh pair of heels is a must. These super marked down Jianna Stacked Heels from Nordstrom are just too good to pass up (under $65!).

Also from Nordies, I'm crushing on this Satin Henley from LUSH (love that label), only $22! Perfect to pair with denim and a giant set of earrings, or a patterned pant to dress up. Such a deal. You're welcome.

Cheers to good deals, great finds, and checking off all of those boxes on your Christmas shopping list!

xoxo,

Shoe closet love.

I will be the first to stand up and admit that I have a fabulous husband. Not only is he smart, funny, creative and patient, but he's pretty darned hot too! I still consider us newlyweds (and probably will for quite some time), because we're always doing thoroughly silly stuff for one another--keepin' things fresh, fun and surprising, ya know? Here's one of my fave pics of us, taken a few years ago during our engagement photoshoot. Good times. That being said, I was still simply breath-taken when I came home from a way-too-long day of work and found that my sweet beau had used his furlough day (yes, it's not just a vicious rumor that we have those all over the place in the state of CA) to transform our hall coat closet into none other than a shoe closet . You heard me right... shoe closet = every girl's dream, ya? We don't really use our hall coat closet anyway, living in such a warm southern California city, so I was thrilled to actually put this space t

Long time, no type.

You guys. Has it seriously been a full YEAR since I've typed up a blog post on here? That is both depressing and encouraging. Depressing--because I feel like I have forgotten about my first "child" my Holly in Heels blog. Encouraging--because it means that I have been suuuper busy with other fun and creative projects, like my continued PR and media copywriting, contributions to Coyote + Oak magazine out of San Luis Obispo, as well as Locale Magazine 's newest San Francisco addition. I have to admit that while these other (paying) jobs keep me busy and on my toes, I do stop and think about my former life as a fashion and lifestyle blogger, and how I miss the creative outlet. To be able to write about whatever topic I choose is certainly a gift. Writing is also therapeutic for me--this blog is like a friend. Like the kind you can call up anytime, talk about the deep stuff and then mention this new conditioner you tried...and then switch back to the meaning of lif

5 Creative Ways to Store and Display your Fabulous Shoes.

Before we begin...I need to ask for your forgiveness. I haven't blogged  since May . Ahhhh! Shame on me, I know. But before you grab your voodoo doll and punish me for the lack of shoe inspiration I've been sending your way, please be proud of my for massively growing my freelance writing business, tackling some public relations work, and stepping up  my Instagram pop-up shop . It's been fun, but the blog has been lacking. Luckily, I got guest blogger, Kelsey, to help me out this week with a fun story about how to creatively store and display your shoes (and keep you looking stylish, too!). Read on. . . . Shoes can pose a serious storage problem, even in spacious closets. The average American owns 19 pairs of shoes , while most shoe lovers are guilty of hoarding many more than that. This can too easily cause clutter and set us back 5 or 10 minutes during our morning routines. If you need shoe organization ideas to get a wrangle on your repertoire, Modernize has sever
