During the month of November you can always find me doing 2 things: Counting down the days until my family's Thanksgiving feast...and counting down the days until shopping deals begin! My shopper-girl's heart is beyond excited for Cyber Monday (the perfect way for me to stay in my turkey coma and still shop!). Yep, the Monday after Thanksgiving Day in the United States is when the droves skip the long lines, and go to their keyboards for the best in online deal hunting. Cyber Monday has quickly become the biggest online shopping days of the year--and my fashionista eye is focused especially on the great shoe deals spotted for Cyber Monday at Macy's ! It's really very rare that I don't have something to say. Like most women (yes, I'm looking at you!) I have some opinions, some thoughts, some ideas--and most of the time those little Holly-thoughts get verbalized. Especially when it comes to shoes: I usually just can't help but share when I've found a killer sale, a wedge that's simply to-die-for, or a heel that makes a fashion statement. You wit me? Well, it's raining again in so cal today! And I've decided that I have a complicated love/hate relationship with the rain. The love part is that very I'm fond of sitting indoors with a good cup of tea and a fire in the fireplace and my favorite episode of The Bachelor going on my tivo as the rain pitter patters at my window. The hate part is, I just can't bear to wear cute heels on a 'jeans Friday' at my work with wet roads on the way. Good thing I can turn to my delightful charcoal/spicy orange converse for these kinda days! But I don't let the drizzle totally get me down, believe me! I'll be wearing my cute heel kicks again tomorrow when the weather clears...and I'll probably still be thinking about these Star Ling sandals too. I have them in black, but I'm pretty sure the mustard yellow's the direction I shoulda gone. What a good sandal to have for those spring shopping days, or nights out on the town where you need a little color kick...

There is no possible way I could pass up spotlighting these gorgeous creatures... Betsey Johnson's Lavant sandal has got to be the prettiest thing I've seen today. That tasty combination of chartreuse yellow & bubblegum pink sends chills up my shoe-lovin' spine! Well, it's a New Year...and when I rang in 2010 with Dom Perignon & some of my favorite friends, I knew I had to do something spectacularly different this year. Something that was worthy of toasting to in 2011! After some Holly-reflection about what I adore most in this beautiful life, I kept looking down at my cute new Betsey Johnson pumps that I had bought at a sizzling sale the week before. SHOES.
