On Men's Style: Burnetie Footwear

My husband is the cutest. Ok ok ok, hopefully EVERYONE would say that about their husband, but I really do love mine. He's not the biggest fan of shopping and fashion, but he is open-minded enough to occasionally allow me to go shopping for him, dress him up like my own Ken doll, and even push the limits once in a blue moon, with skinny jeans and hipster boots. And it all looks so good on his many physique, so I can't help be continue to work my fashionista magic on him!

When it comes to shoes, the hubs knows what he likes. He likes comfort and versatility: kicks he can wear to work and to play. His latest love are these 'Mark' boat-style canvas men's shoes from Burnetie. They go with his blue jeans, grey jeans, and even stylish shorts for summertime.

Love, love, love! Oh, and he wants me to tell you all that these shoes make him feel extra manly--so manly he automatically gravitates toward manly tools like an axe. Oh yeah.

Long time, no type.

You guys. Has it seriously been a full YEAR since I've typed up a blog post on here? That is both depressing and encouraging. Depressing--because I feel like I have forgotten about my first "child" my Holly in Heels blog. Encouraging--because it means that I have been suuuper busy with other fun and creative projects, like my continued PR and media copywriting, contributions to Coyote + Oak magazine out of San Luis Obispo, as well as Locale Magazine 's newest San Francisco addition. I have to admit that while these other (paying) jobs keep me busy and on my toes, I do stop and think about my former life as a fashion and lifestyle blogger, and how I miss the creative outlet.
